11/11/11 A COP AND A CHRISTIAN has been optioned by New Integrity Films and producer Joseph Barmettler.
His credits include being a writer for the television show L.A. Heat.
03/21/11 I am thrilled to announce that Morris Chestnut, star of the ABC television
show "V" has optioned the feature-length screenplay of Cabin 6. Morris
is slated to produce, along with my manager, Margery Walshaw.
06/30/10 THE BLUE CANE has made the Second Round of the 2010
Page International Screenwriting Awards.
06/10/10 I am pleased to announce that I have signed with a literary manager.
Margery Walshaw of Evatopia will now be guiding my writing career from
her offices in Beverly Hills.
10/26/09 We are proud to learn that CABIN 6 (the short) has won two more awards:

4/20/09 CABIN 6 (the feature) has been optioned for a fourth time, this one by producer
Sam Gaw of Flashpoint Media. Sam's credits include THE BROKEN ROAD,
and he is currently shooting MY LIFE AS A DOORMAT based on the book by
Rene Gutteridge.
11/13/08 WW II-K has advanced to the quarter-finals of Fade-In's 15th Annual Writer's
Network 15th Annual Competition, as well as the quarter-finals of the
Creative Screen-writing's 2008 Expo.
10/20/08 I am currently talking with renowned motivational speaker Dr. Bobby Smith, a former Louisiana State
Trooper who was shot in the line of duty and left blind. After years of struggling emotionally,
physically, and spiritually, Bobby persevered and eventually overcame his demons. Bobby
penned his amazing story in his book VISIONS OF COURAGE and has authored other
compelling works. He has since lectured to a million souls, including two former presidents.
I am proud to have the opportunity to adapt his story into a screenplay, tentatively called
THE BLUE CANE.
08/26/08 A COP AND A CHRISTIAN has advanced to the Second Round in the Austin Film
Festival Screenplay Competition.
7/2/08 WW II-K has advanced to the Quarter-finals of the Page International Screenwriting
awards.
7/2/08 Two of my screenplays, A COP AND A CHRISTIAN and WW II-K, have made it into
the quarter-finals of the Bluecat Screenplay Competition. I'll keep you posted.
3/27/08 Cabin 6 (the feature) has been optioned for six months to director/producer
Jamison Brandi. Jamison's last film was Johnson Family Dinner, released
through Warner Brothers. (Note: Jamison still owes me and others money, so
avoid him like the plague unless you like checks that bounce.)
3/16/08 Wow! What an exciting month!!! Although the option officially expired on the
1st, I learned that WW II-k recently found its way into the hands of the VP
of Warner Brother studios! Keep your fingers crossed!
If that weren't awesome enough, I also learned that CABIN 6 (short film) is going to be
distributed on DVD by Vision Video!
CABIN 6 (the feature) has recently been offered options by four production companies!
I'll post which company I sign with as soon as we know who's going to get the script.
11/12/07 13 AGAIN?! has been voted as being among the TOP 20% of over 3000 scripts submitted to the
Creative Screenwriting's 2007 EXPO 6. This is from their web page:

8/27/07 13 AGAIN?! has been completed and posted on Inktip.
6/1/07 CABIN 6 (the feature) has been optioned by Tom Massmann of Final Focus Films for six months. Tom has
agreed to bring Mike McCaffrey, director of Cabin 6 the short film, on board. He also has plans to put
the Cabin 6 short film on the DVD as bonus material.
3/1/07 WW II-K has been optioned to director John Murlowski of Painting Entertainment
for one year. John is currently in South Africa helping with the latest
installment of the STARSHIP TROOPERS franchise. He has also
recently directed an episode of GHOST WHISPERER. One of his first
feature films was BLACK CADILLAC which starred Randy Quaid.
